Salty Dogs Services is taking home health, respite care, and homemaker services to a new level. The idea of Salty Dogs came to Andrew Dickens after his separation from the US Army. While visiting his Grandpa Dave, Andrew saw that he wasn't the same. Life in "the home" had changed his once vibrant grandfather, and he was now sullen. At that moment Andrew chose to liberate Dave, even if only for a while.
Seeing the change in his grandpa from just that short outing, Andrew realized then and there that geriatriccare (something he had already provided in an institutional environment) needed to go beyond simply providing a standard of care.
