My family child care home is the first stage in your child's education. Children perform and expand on their activities like they do in their own home. This an excellent way to supplement care for young children.

My Family Child Care Home, works with small groups and low teacher to child ratio. This allows for an increase in individualize attention specific to each child's needs, facilitates learning and prevents children from getting sick easily. Our program welcomes and encourages parents to become part of their child's learning experience and promotes parents participation in their child's activities. I respect the children and teach them to respect each other. We respect the uniqueness of each child.

Many, many story books are ready to the children daily; I will read the same book a thousand times, because I know the children learn through repetition. We encourage children to use their voices, use their hands, use their eyes, use their minds, as I know there are many ways of learning an not everyone learns the same.

As a FCC Provider, I provide many opportunities, such as Dramatic Play, Block Play, Art Activities, Discovery, Organic Gardening, Outdoor play and many more activities. Through play, children learn social and emotional skills, manners, math, science, self esteem; they get to develop large and small motor skills, and brain stimulation.

I know I work very hard so send great learners into the word. I know that when the children leave my family child care home, they will be ready for kindergarten the next year because of the variety of learning experiences that are provided to them.
