We are called to this service to remind patients that while a person may have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, the person his or herself it is NOT "terminal". Saint Verena Hospice Care will teach you how to provide personalized care to yourself or your loved ones, and we will provide support to you until the end.

Saint Verena Hospice provides health care and services designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatment. Hospice care is for patients (living with a terminal diagnosis) who wish to live their lives as comfortably as possible for as long as possible.
We consider the entire family, not just the patient, to be the unit of care. Under hospice care, patients and their families will have the opportunity to prepare for the end-of-life experiences with dignity.
Saint Verena Hospice has a well-qualified team prepared to help with all aspects of end-of-life care, from activities of daily living to medical care to spiritual and social counseling. The hospice team will coordinate with the patient and the patient's family to determine a Care Plan, including scheduling of care team visits according to patient and family needs.
