I'm a Stay at Home Mom looking to care for a child or two, aged 3 or older.

About Me:
I have a 4 year old son and a 2 month old daughter. I'm from Wisconsin originally and we just moved back here from Colorado to be closer to friends and family.

I have an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering CAD drafting and enjoy reading, and playing pool competitively. My husband installs appliances for Best Buy and also plays pool. We travel to Las Vegas yearly to compete in the international pool tournament.

We live in a modest apartment with a very large living room and a second bedroom converted to a play room. Our home is clean and safe and has lots of natural light during the day.

We are a smoke, pet, alcohol, and drug free home and will pass a background check if you choose to run one.

Your child will have a built in playmate with my 4 year old son. He is a sweet and caring child that adores playing with other kids. They will have a grand time playing in his big refrigerator box fort or putting trains together. They will not lack for toys or activities and opportunities to use their imagination.

TV time will be limited to one hour per day. A healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

At this age, play is the best education for a child, but we will also set aside time during the day to work on kindergarten preparedness according to Minnesota standards or better.

Winter will be keeping us inside, but during the summer there is a playground on site for running off some energy.

I have been babysitting since I was a teenager. I was a nanny for 3 young children several years ago but was unable to contact the family for references. I have been a mother for 4 years. I have several family friends with children that can provide good references.

Rates for one child:

Monday through Friday
$175 per week for anything up to 45 hours. ($3.80 per hour)
$200 per week 46+ hours
(Add $50 per week for additional child)

Saturday/Sunday
$8 per hour

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided.

Child must be up to date on vaccines and provide proof from a doctor. (I have a partially vaccinated infant.)

Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate children with special medical needs or severe allergies. I have no medical training and do not feel comfortable with that at this time.
