Hello my name is Vickie Johnson I am a childcare provider in the city of Mesquite, Texas.Being a working parent who had to leave my children everyday to go to work, I understand the importance and concerns of having a safe and affordable place to take your child.
My decision to open a home daycare is based on those needs. I believe parents and children are comfortable and feel safe in an environment that has a home setting. Bringing your child to Safe Haven is not just dropping them off at the babysitter.
Safe Haven is a Home based childcare facility offering a nurturing, clean, and safe environment for children . I have designed an atmosphere that combines learning with the love and comfort of a home setting. This setting is good for children because they are not separated into age groups and will learn to interact with children of different ages.Large spacious room for indoor activities with a variety of Toys, books, music, and much more. Large back yard that provide daily routine of playing, learning and activates that will build strong motor skills, and imagination. Our learning curriculum is designed with daily activities of learning and exploring the world around us through reading, writing, singing, arts and crafts,dancing. Children learn and have fun every minute of the day, at the same time they are developing Language Proficiency, color and shape awareness, letter and number recognition, counting abilities and Social skills. My goal is to assist your child/children in developing important values and developing characteristics such as, polite manners,following directions, caring, Sharing, patience, responsibility, respecting others, fairness, and problem management. I think these skills are important before children enter a school setting.
