Rushing's Home Daycare

I am a proud mommy to two beautiful children! I have a daughter who is 6 years old and a 3 month old little boy. I have worked in the health care field for a little over 7 years and I am CPR certified. I love taking care of people but I especially lovetaking care of little ones! I have always wanted to become a teacher but have just never found the right time to go back to school! I am really excited to start a day care in my home so that I can do the things I love to do the most every day! Those things include being around children, watching them grow, and teaching them through different milestones. I am a Christian so prayer will be said before meal times and we will have circle time in the morning if the children are old enough where they will get to sing a number of educational songs as well as Christian based children's songs. Before nap time I will read them a book and they will have soothing music throughout their nap time. I want to be able to give the children the undivided attention they need and deserve so I am only looking to take on up to 3 children possibly 4 depending on the age ranges. I am a parent who currently has to leave my children with a sitter while I am at work so I have new found appreciation for all the "little" things that parents need for comfort when their child is away from them. Parents are always welcome to just pop in whenever without calling or giving any notice while their child is in my care! Yes you would think that should be a must with every sitter but I had a sitter who would not allow this. Also on certain occasions I will be available nights and even weekends if given proper notice to watch the little ones if mommy and daddy just want a night alone or a dinner and movie date.
