About the business
We provide individualized, high quality private tutoring for students of all ages, availability for one-on-one or groups sessions (maximum of 6 students). Our tutors have professional experience, diverse educational backgrounds, and a passion for empowering students to confidently reach their academic goals. From Elementary School to University, we understand the unique challenges that students face and want to improve the quality of their learning in any way we can.
Meet our Tutors:
Rainier Herczeg: "I am currently the lead math tutor at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I have over three years of experience tutoring a variety of students in basic math to Ordinary Differential Equations. I have a Bachelor's degree in Dual Languages (Spanish and German) and am well versed in basic STEM and humanities subjects. My work with Anchorage Youth Court and the Mayor's Youth Advisory Commission gave me valuable experience working with young people. I take pride in providing consistent, high quality educational support."
Krisse Steinmann: "Hi there, my name is Krisse. I am a senior German language student at University of Alaska Anchorage and have roughly 6 years of experience tutoring mathematics through the university. My German studies have been off and on since 2010, and I have conversational level abilities. I have also taken courses in computer coding and have a basic understanding of Python, Java, and C++.
Some special interests of mine are singing, acting, playing the ukulele, watching cartoons, and patiently helping others succeed!"
