Royal Oasis Community Network 757 (ROCN 757) presents Kindergarten and 1st Grade Readiness Workshop. Children enrolled in our Kindergarten and 1st Grade Readiness will excel from one-on-one sessions.
Our curriculum teaches young children important academic, social, and self -sufficiency skills needed. The camp is structured to benefit children entering kindergarten or 1st Grade for the first time in the Fall of 2013, or children repeating kindergarten or 1st Grade in the Fall of 2013.
We know that the negative effects are critical when young students are "left behind." We frequently witness the embarrassment and shame young children experience when they are retained or receive remedial assistant outside of the classroom.
Students removed from the normal classroom setting for remedial help often miss value lessons, basic skills, peer to peer socialization, and important teacher- student interaction within the classroom. Unfortunately, these students spend many years struggling to catch up academically and socially.
