I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am also certified in PreKindergarten/Primary Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Physical Education K-12th grade. I also have an Associate's degree in Child Development and Education. I hold a State of Florida Professional Educator's Teaching certificate. I also have current fingerprints and background checks. I have been teaching at the elementary level for over 10 years and prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in child care centers since I was in high school. I am in the process of setting up a family day care in my home. As of August 12th, 2013, I will be available to care for children ages newborn-preschool. I live in a large/comfortable, clean home with no smokers or pets. I am in the process of converting our three car garage into a huge, beautiful playroom/classroom. If our garage is not ready by August (depending on how long pulling the permits and the builder takes), I will use the spare bedroom in our home to care for the children. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and our home sits on a cul-de-sac. I will be available Monday-Friday, 6:30-6:00. If you are interested, please email me and I can give you more details.
