Rocking Horse Play School, Llc

Hello, my name is Caroline and I am the owner of the Rocking Horse Play School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Roger Williams University along with 3 years experience teaching at a Montessori preschool. I also have two sons of my own. In my Play School we concentrate on social, educational, and creative activities. We have two play rooms, a kitchen, a brand new deck and a fenced in back yard for exploring and playing. We have plenty of toys, games, and learning activities to keep your child well entertained while they are here.

At my daycare I will prepare your child for school through learning activities and playtime with friends. We focus on the importance of sharing, patience and kindness towards others while making learning fun. I love reading aloud and will do so throughout the day, along with daily group time where we will concentrate on a letter and theme of the week. We also provide a healthy learning environment for your child by spending quality outdoor time with nature. There is no "TV time" just social interaction with other kids.

I will have morning sessions (9 - 12) and afternoon sessions (1 - 4) for $25 each. I will also provide full day for $55 (hours can be flexible). I do provide a healthy snack daily, usually some kind of fruit or home baked goodie. Full day students do need to bring a lunch from home.
