As a Mandated Reporter I was required to make a report of suspected abuse when they have reasonable cause to suspect that a child is a victim of child abuse under any circumstances.
Responsible for stimulating a variety of areas, including play skills, behavior management, social interaction, cognitive development, and language acquisition for children with special needs and disabilities.
More specifically I provide services to Autistic children with delays in language, cognitive, physical, adaptive and social-emotional development. These services include but are not limited to monitoring, guiding, encouraging them to participate and complete tasks, deescalate, redirect and defuse inappropriate behavior as well as helping them to ambulate, to position and to transfer from one place to another.
Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to supervisor.
