My name is Amanda Dalton. I graduated from Harding University in 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked for the past 6 years as both a paraprofessional and a lead teacher in the public and private school sides of early childhood. I have a little boy of my own who will be three this summer.
Rise & Shine Christian Preschool is the culmination of my passion and love for children and teaching and my desire to create a unique learning environment so children will never say "I hate school" while they are in my classroom. :) With play-based learning and direct instruction, Rise & Shine provides a great transitional year (or two) for children preparing to enter Kindergarten. We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
At this time, I am in the process of applying for licensure through the state.
