Rich Beginnings Daycare is a licensed, home based daycare on Rich Rd. in DeKalb. There are currently openings for children 2 years old - 12 years old for full and part time, before and after school as well as summer programs. Hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack will be offered daily. Emphasis is on learning though play, music, outdoor play and exploration, healthy eating, cooking, arts and crafts and life skills learning. We will steer clear of screen time with the exception of the occasional rainy day movie. I am CPR and First-Aid certified and have experience working with children of all ages as well as children with special needs. I offer the structure and learning that you will find in a larger center but can give you peace of mind by offering it in a more intimate setting. With fewer children to look after I can give more individualized attention to each child. I look forward to planning my days with your child's interests in mind!
