Lots of hands on activities. Flexibility and catering to each individual child are my goals. Learning is not a "one size fits all" process. Each child is unique and I strive to find how each child learns as an individual and make my lesson plans work around that.
We get outside daily, weather permitting, and explore, play, learn, and interact.
Learning how to get along with a group of people to ensure success in life later on is my main focus. We learn the "ABC's and 1,2,3's" as we learn how to get along with others.
Social interactions are so limited now with all the technology kids have access to and are encouraged to use. I am a huge believer in teaching kids social interaction skills, so that they will know better how to express themselves as they get older.
