Reservoir Childcare

Hello! I am a mom of two crazy, amazing girls (ages 4 & 2) who is excited to share my love, creativity, and home with one or two children ages 1-4. My home is located conveniently between Strong and Highland hospitals, in an area that offers a lot of green space and opportunities for (supervised) exploration. My home is open to you and your little one(s) Mon-Fri from 7:30am-5:30pm, but time frames can be adjusted to fit your schedule if necessary. I am an informal provider who draws from my experience as a mom and my abundant patience with, and love for, children. I prefer to see any child in my care as a part of my family, so if you are looking for that kind of love and attention for your little one I could be a great fit! I feed my family foods that are minimally processed, made fresh, usually organic, and (hopefully) tasty. We eat meals around the dining room table or in nice weather, picnic style outside, so don't worry about packing a lunch or snacks for your babe (unless you would like to) because I provide them all. Each day includes reading time, craft time, meals & snacks, naps or quiet time, and free play. Outdoor excursions will happen in rain or shine, temperature permitting. I also offer an invitation only Facebook page that will chronicle our activities and include pictures of our adventures and creative endeavors. I will provide a weekly guide to snacks and lunches served so you are aware of what your little one is offered when it's time to eat. In my home we are big on music and we listen to a lot of it! Jazz and classical usually take center stage, but blues and country have been known to sneak in. I do allow one hour of screen time (up to two on especially rainy or sickly days) but if you prefer no screen time I can try to accommodate that as well. I also have a cat and a large dog, so if pet allergies affect your child then this might not work for their care. My furry "kids" are completely up to date with their vaccinations and grooming and I can provide vet paperwork for verification.
