Hey there! Welcome to Refocus. We are tutoring company founded by teachers.
We met at a school training before the year commenced where we continued to work for two years and fell in love. Having both come from backgrounds of parents working in education, we rose to make a change along with them. After a few short years, frustration settled as policy and administration became increasingly important... not to the benefit of our students.
We see knowledge as an attainable goal that should be available to everyone, but we know that is increasingly not the case. Too many times teachers see their class sizes increase, test standards change and budgets shrivel; this has a direct negative impact on our kids, as they get further and further behind! Our future generations suffer greatly as our current education system increases a large economic gap.
In order to combat this, we take to you. Be the change in a inevitable trajectory. Check your child's homework or sit with us for an hour a week for additional support. See your child thrive in school when they were once struggling.
