Hello there,
I have been on the business of cleaning for 10 years now, I work either in a private home as also in commercial environment such as offices.
My duties vary according to the employment environment but the basic tasks and skills required to perform the housekeeping job remain the same.
The general purpose is to maintain a clean, comfortable and tidy environment for either private households or commercial establishments, I will list the main job tasks and responsibilities.
* Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors.
* Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies.
* Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
* Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
* Empty and clean trash containers.
* Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
* Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers.
* Wipe down glass surfaces.
* Make up beds and change linens as required.
* Tidy up rooms.
* Wash windows as schedule.
* Sort, wash, load and unload laundry.
* Sort, fold, and put way clean laundry.
* Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
* Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
* Monitor and report necessary domestic repair and replacements.
* Polish silverware.
* Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards.
* Clean appliances.
In addition, I would like to say that I have good knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods, knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials, I have stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend, ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs).
I have strong attention to details and costumer focus its one of my priorities, I have good listening skills and I can adapt easy to every new environment, I have good references from clients that I have been working for many years, integrity and honesty its one of the keys for the success of my business.
