Ready, Set, Grow Home Daycare

Welcome to Ready, Set, Grow Home Daycare! I am a mother of two and a former elementary school teacher. I am fully licensed, first aid/CPR certified, and health and safety trained. I specialize in childcare for children from ages 6 weeks to five years old. My goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, and physical development. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home, where they can feel safe and happy and can begin to build confidence and a positive self image.
My program reflects the belief that learning takes place primarily through exploratory activities and discovery. The amount of adult guidance varies with each activity, as it is my belief that a good program offers both directed and non-directed experiences, encouraging your child to plan and think about their actions.

The play areas have a wide range of materials and developmentally appropriate activities which allow your child to create, manipulate, explore, and discover according to their particular and unique interests.
The atmosphere at Ready, Set, Grow is relaxed and casual, geared towards the interests and needs of your child, allowing them the freedom to be themselves and develop as unique individuals. I take into consideration your child's differences and special abilities as well as your families culture and values.
I provide well-balanced nutritious meals and snacks to your child. I incorporate lots of fun activities into our daily schedule that include arts and crafts, music, song and dance, painting, puppet shows, story time and more. We go to the park at least once a week, and go on monthly field trips to places like the Children's Discovery Museum, Happy Hollow, Hidden Villa, etc. My family daycare meets all the requirements established by the State of California Community Care Licensing. I understand that you are trusting me to care for your child, and I take this responsibility very seriously.
