About
I offer loving, educational child care. Every morning I greet the children with a smile on my face. Every day is a new opportunity for discovering, learning and understanding the world around us. I believe children learn through hands on experiences. Teachable moments happen many times throughout the day. Children grow and mature at their own individual rate. They thrive in an environment that gives them a sense of warmth and security and has a daily routine. I believe projects a child completes is more about the process than it is about the end product.
It is my goal to have a partnership with the parents where the communication is open and the ultimate goal is what is best for the child.
I have a twelve passenger van and we often go on field trips. I can provide transportation to both Flagstone and Rock Ridge Elementary schools.
I feed the children nutritious snacks and meals and subscribe to a certified food program. When the children are here they are my focus.
I am open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
I have a BA in Elementary Education. I am a level 2 in the Colorado Shines program. Because my home daycare is licensed I adhere to all of the state requirements, some of which include CPR & First Aid and medications certified. I have also completed the 48 hour course of Expanding Quality Care for Infant and Toddlers sponsored by the National Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Education.
