Vision
It is my goal to provide a safe learning environment to children. Each day I will provide a variety of learning experiences to encourage social, emotional, and physical growth, specific to each individual child s age and development. Children will be part of a multi-age group, therefore they will learn from one another. This will teach independence, teamwork, along with a sense of self as they discover the roles they play in our group. Older children will have the opportunity to lead, and instruct younger children. Younger children will be involved in more advanced play. This will help to develop their language and physical skill. Children learn through exploration and play, my home is designed to provide education through real life experiences.
About Me
I am a stay at home Mom to 3 children of my own. My husband is in the Air Force. We have lived in Alaska for about 6 months.
I have been working with children for 9 years. I worked as a full time nanny to a family with 6 children, age s newborn-7. I also have worked as a horseback riding instructor at a camp for children ages 6 to 12. In the past I have organized activities for preschool aged children at a weekly home-school gym event, as well as volunteered teaching Sunday school, nursery, and VBS classes.
I have had 1 year of Early Childhood Development, and plan on continuing my education as time allows. Ultimately I would like to get a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I am required to complete monthly training through the FCC program. It is my goal to become an accredited provider.
