Ranchos Rugrats Daycare is a new in-home daycare opening this month in Gardnerville. I have worked with kids my entire life: started babysitting in 6th grade, worked in a daycare, was the Director of Programs, Services, and Operations at the Boys & Girls Club, taught parenting classes at a domestic violence shelter to the shelter clients, court ordered clients, and the general public, and I was a child and family advocate as well. I just got my CPR certification and am scheduled to get first aid certified in early November. My home and attitude are both very peaceful and calm, which helps set the tone for tiny humans. My discipline techniques are centered around outcomes based programs such as Systematic Training for Effective Parenting, 1-2-3 Magic, and Positive Parenting Solutions, which I am very well versed in, having taught these techniques to parents for 4 years. Hours of operation are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
