Rainbow Station at Wyndham offers childcare for children ranging ages 6 weeks - 13 years old. Our school is NAEYC accredited, in the process of attaining our SACS accreditation, and it's more affordable than you might have guessed!
The Village offers an afterschool experience unlike any other! We pick up from over nine elementary schools in the area (Glen Allen, Echo Lake, Shady Grove, Twin Hickory, Springfield Park, Colonial Trail, Rivers Edge, South Anna, Short Pump) and transport students to our Wyndham location. While at Rainbow Station, the students enjoy a nutritional afternoon snack, time to play outside, and a designated time to do their homework with help from our well trained staff.
After everyone's homework is finished, it's time for the most exciting part of the afternoon: center time. Since the building is built like a miniature Village with a library, apothecary, gym, theater, toy shop, construction zone, arcade, caf , and art gallery, our after-schoolers are able to choose which center they would like to go to. We have at least five centers open every afternoon so our students can engage in the activities that interest them with adult supervision.
Rainbow Station at Wyndham also provides transportation to your child's afterschool activities such as Tae Kwon Doa, Richmond Dance Center, NOVA Aquatics, and after school enrichment programs. If you need help with transportation to a location not listed above then just let us know and we would be happy to arrange that for you!
Our Club 5 program is for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders and the program is designed to give our older students more independence as well as increased responsibility. The Club 5 program has its own separate space where students do their homework and participate in age appropriate activities that may be too advanced for some of our younger friends
Rainbow Station at Wyndham offers a NAEYC accredited program to children ages Infants through Pre-K. Our philosophy uses play-based learning to meet the standards of learning in each developmental age. We focus on the whole child, which includes many programs such as Baby Signs, Music and Movement, Yoga, Fine Art, Foreign Language, Technology and P. E.. Our leadership and value based programs aim to bring out the greatness in each child resulting in an individualized curriculum tailored to the needs of each child.
