About
RAINBOW FRIENDS FAMILY DAY CARE has an opening for one baby under two years of age. I am a retired infant and early childhood specialist who is not ready to live a life without the laughter of young children in it.
I participate in the food program and serve wholesome food, mostly organic, no packaged food, all freshly prepared.
As the children get older, my favorite thing to share with them is my love of nature and hiking. We spend time every day out of doors in active play, including gardening together.
As for discipline, every moment is a teaching moment, an opportunity to learn to handle situations in a positive manner. I see all behavior as a form of communication and seek to understand what children are trying to tell me through their actions.
