I have been babysitting for families outside of my own since I was 12 years old- so I have 7 years of experience. I started out babysitting for a family with 3 children, ages 1, 3, & 5, and was responsible for basic child care and giving them dinner. I continued babysitting for this family for the next 6 years. I worked in a preschool within my high school during my junior and senior years, and was responsible for planning multiple lessons and implementing 3 of them. I also led circle time multiple times and often sat in the library area and read to the kids during free time. I worked at a YMCA for a few years in the Child Watch room where I was responsible for caring for up to 6 children at a time with ages ranging from 3 months to 9 years old- however, I most often cared for children ages 3 months to 4 years old. I also worked with the YMCA where I was responsible for helping elementary school kids with their homework and supervising their activities when they finished. I have worked at a childcare center in a classroom with eight 3-year-olds and was responsible for supervising all activities that the children participated in.
