I am an experienced child care provider with a degree in Early Childhood Education, with a four-year-old son at home. I am looking for a family that needs child care and is willing to bring their children to my house each day. I am very flexible with hours needed. I am open to children three and older. I have a multitude of materials for creating a preschool-like experience, as well as great material for older children, such as beginners' reading books, board games, puzzles, paint and easel, tons of craft material, manipulatives, etc. I can also do distance learning with your child if needed.
We have a large back yard with swings and also several chickens. I like to get outdoors a lot for walks, trips to the park, bike rides, and the like. I'm also very health conscious. I try to buy mostly organic food and we eat a somewhat paleo diet. If our diets are alike, i don't mind offering breakfast, lunch and snacks (and possibly dinner as well), or it's also fine if you want to just pack a lunch/food.

I have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. Preschool age children have been my area of focus, but I also have a lot of experience with children of all ages, including infants. I have over 70 credits specified towards childcare and also have over 530 hours (5 college course terms) of professional training in high quality pre-school centers, and have worked in preschools aw well. I also have years of experience as a nanny. I have skills in using developmentally appropriate guidance approaches, such as redirection, positive reinforcement, effective praise and encouragement, and problem solving. I am experienced in creating activities that can foster children's academic and social development. I also have experience with special needs children, including experience with ABA. I have proof of CPR certification, and a criminal history background check.
