Qc Childcare

I have 1 full-time opening from infant to school age. (I will consider 2 openings if you have 2 children). I know how hard it is to trust someone new with your little ones, so let me tell you a little about myself.

I am a 34-year old, stay-at-home mom of 2 children; a son, 2 years old, and a daughter, 4 years old in June. (I also have 2 older children who are in middle school/activities from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.). I have 12+ years experience caring for children. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Child Psychology/Social Work at night. One of my children is adopted and I have been vetted and cleared by that difficult process including criminal and personal background checks. I am involved in my community and my husband serves on the City Council. We have a smoke-free, pool-free, and pet-free home. I know CPR and I am very protective and cautious with my children's safety. Some would call me over-protective, but I make no apology for that and will be as cautious and caring with your children as I am with my own.

I can't "call in sick" as a mom, so I will not call in sick and leave you with no childcare on short notice. I will give you a 30 day notice if I will be out of town. My rate is $125 per week (upfront), but you will never pay for weeks you don't use if you have a sick day, vacation, etc. I will also care for your child if he/she is sick because kids get sick and that's just life. Meals are included in my price and I serve easy, kid-friendly food. You are welcome to provide your own meals if you would prefer to. This is not a peanut-free environment so you will have to let me know if your child has any allergies. Drop in, short notice care is also available. The rate for that is $30 per day.

I have a playroom and lots of indoor and outdoor toys. I like to teach my children letters, numbers, shapes, and colors as well as let them free play. I also do learning and sensory play. I love letting the kids play and get messy! I am looking forward to outings to the parks near my home as well as mini outings to the local library for the puppet shows and story times they do there for children.
