Hi all of you out there ! I m Elizabeth and Asian. I have an artistic son who is 22 yrs old.
My son is severely in autism. He is very low functioning,non-verbal,and need assistances with likes bathing,feeding w utensils,going to the restroom and washing hands and etc..
he is ok and fine eating w finger foods likes pizza,French fries,chicken fries, chicken nuggets n etc,..
He is not potty train!
he always need you to tell him to go pee or poo by telling him go to restroom or he won't goes on his own.
My life story is very long about my son.
Anyway,this Grouphome got my son for about 6 months and all they do ignored n left him w dirty diapers all the time.
The staff never keep my son snacks separate with their foods,
"The staff gave my son foods to others patients to eat all the time !"
I don't really mind n care if I m RICH w a lots of money and be able to gives them the need they want in there. I m a single mom for over 24 yrs and I am all alone and I don't have a husband and trying to live happy and stress free and l loving my son w all of heart and soul,then,and sadness came and living inside of me now, it is all because of this Grouphome did to me! They played w my mind and heart likes a toys. I don't know why they did it to me? I don't know why the reason they all played w my emotions n Im here saying n thinking in my head have I hurted anyone in their family nor them i have all of the bad headache everyday dealing w the staff,the RN lady who is a liar and kept on playing w me. She always said that I m crazy and that is why my son hits me, cuz I drive him crazy ! My son is aggressive sometimes and he will hit me if he does not have his ways, I think that is part of the autism disorder that causing aggressive toward me. His madness does nog stay long ! He mad for 3 min is the most.
Anyway if is a very story I got to stop at the point. Please do not give your son in this place and they won't be caring for your kids likes the way they should. They are too lazy to do their jobs right! They are still a kids to me, they don't have much experience about life yet, All they do to play games nor on their phones play games or watch YouTube nor talking on the phone,eating and sleeping. I don't recommend you to this place. The house smell bad when they smokes marijuana and I had smell it when I was there to pick my son up at night. They neglected my son and someone hurt my son wrist w all 5 finger print on his wrist a few minors ago. I did a complained to the nurse lady to look n check the Cameras to see what happen and she never did !
She did not talk to me about it at all,
I forgive n try to forget what n how the bruises that hurt my son. Bad bad ppls here at this place.
