I have been caring for animals all my life but as a business with clients, since 2009. When I was a young girl growing up in the harsh winters of Illinois, I would make boxes filled with blankets and feed all the stray animals. I'd spend hours outside trying to get them to come close enough for me to give them a pet or a kiss, I thought all of them needed attention and that they were outside because nobody loved them. I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish and mice but as an adult I've owned 2 cats, both 15 years old. I lost one of them to cancer, her name was Pumpkin which was the reason I decided to name this business after her. She was special like all the animals we have in our lives. It's an unconditional love, a remarkable bond that should not be taken for granted.

Some of the things your pet will receive upon hiring me are, 1/2 hour dog walk, run or bike followed by another half hour of cuddles. To me, it feels strange to drop the dog off and leave. As for pet/house sitting, I will keep your pet on their feeding and walking schedule, your pet won't be home alone more than 3-4 hours, lots of cuddles, water plants and garden, a clean home, welcoming lights if you return in the evening, and retrieve any mail from the mailbox. Just as an added bonus, I send photos and videos to your phone or email to keep you close to your pet while you are away because let's face it, they are the babies in the family and if we can take them with, we would!
