Protege Arts was founded by Joey Bohlmann in 2014. Having taught guitar, bass & ukulele for 14 years, he found that many students were more comfortable learning in the familiar environment of their home. It saves the student or parents of the student time commuting to and from a studio destination, avoiding the hassle of traffic, stress and loss of focus. The student is afforded the opportunity to learn, practice and grow in a positive and relaxed setting thus promoting the proper focus needed to effectively grasp an instrument.
