My top priority is to provide a safe and nurturing place for your children to spend their days when you can't be with them. I strive to provide a comfortable home setting and a secure, predictable environment for your baby to develop and thrive. I believe that children are individuals and am dedicated to respecting them as such by letting them explore and learn at their own pace while fulfilling their physical and emotional needs .
I am offering 20+ years of experience working with children of various ages and needs in home and classroom environments.
I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education, hold a CA Professional Clear Multi Subject Credential, have been First Aid and CPR certified for 20 years, was the Chef/Owner of a successful catering business for 6 years and am now a Mom to 2 little girls (3 yrs and 7 months). I taught Kindergarten in San Francisco, Preschool in Oakland and have been a nanny to numerous families with infants and multiple children since age 16 (a pretty long time ago:).
Days will be filled with developmentally appropriate activities, nutritious organic meals, lots of fresh air and as many hugs, snuggles & giggles as we can fit in.
Projected hours are 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Full-time (M-F) preferred, but am somewhat flexible with hours and care scenarios.
Located in Castro Valley above the 3 Crosses with easy access to 238/580/880.
Great for locals or commuters looking for their child to be quick access from work or home!
Care available beginning August 5th with a focus on BABIES AGES 6 WEEKS - 2 YEARS. I will consider accommodating older children (up to age 3) if the need arises.
