Hello! :) My name is Nicole. I chose to start an in-home daycare a couple years ago to others that were not my friends children so I could finish my degree at night and still get the time to spend with my own children! I have a very friendly and loving home with lots of space for the kiddos to have fun. In my home, I do have a playroom outside of my daughters bedroom and the living room for the kids to explore their imagination. I also have a decent size back yard with lots of outside toys and a park in our plat that we go to on a regular basis. I enjoy teaching and watching children learn knowing that I was a part in them gaining their knowledge. I'm big on story time and my older kids that are learning to read helping me read the stories during story time. I currently have children ages 2-5 with an occasional 8 month old so lots of fun ages for kids to interact with one another. Below I have listed what a normal day routine looks like in my home. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer! :)
7:30am- Breakfast
9:00am- Story Time
9:30-10:30am- Arts and Crafts
10:30am- Snack Time
11:00-12:30pm- Activities, lesson plan for the day, letter of the day. Preschool curriculum followed.
12:30-1:30pm- Lunch
1:30-3:00pm- Quiet time, children who nap then nap time, older children that don't movie time, busy bags.
3:15pm- Snack
3:30-4:15pm- Outside play
4:30-6:00pm- playroom time until parents pick up unless parents are scheduled for pick up at a different time.
