I am a mom & grandma that has been doing child care for approximately 15 years for family and some friends. I am currently tending my 2 grandsons(ages 3 and 3 months). I decided to get licensed so I can take on a few more kids. After November 3rd I will be CPR & First Aid certified. I should have my license by December 1st. I will be doing preschool activities with the children. I live in an apartment but we have 1 bedroom just for a play/activity room. There is a playground in the complex and I have a small porch. I believe it is important for the children to have educational activities as well as time to play. Children learn so much from playing with other children. I will be taking classes through the state and possibly getting an Early Childhood Education certificate. I am excited to teach young children. To watch a child's eyes light up when they completely understand something you have just taught them is so exciting and fulfilling.
