With over 25 years' experience, I specialize in the care and teaching of children from Newborn to age 4.

MY EXPERIENCE:
-I received my Early Childhood Education Teacher Certification from De Anza College.
-I have worked in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms
-I have experience working with all ages of children
-I have raised 4 children, ages 12, 14, 25, and 26, and have been an active parent participant at their school as well as all their extracurricular activities.
-I am a mandated reporter, have Live Scan fingerprinting, and an extensive background check.
-My Daycare license # is 434414782.


MY MISSION:

I provide a safe, nurturing environment filled with love, patience and understanding. I am emotionally available to each child creating a child focused space where learning is fun. Through Play-Based Learning authentic learning emerges...I nurture the love of learning by inspiring children to problem solve and expand curiosity, giving each child sufficient time to express, learn and explore. Together, we learn about sharing, cooperation and empathy. I strive for a collaborative relationship between parents and myself promoting cohesiveness between home and school furthering the healthy growth and development of all children in my care.

The philosophies I follow are: Play-Based Learning ,The Montessori Method, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia Approach, RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers)
