Positive Start Childcare

Children of varied ages and abilities are cared for at Positive Start. We have the flexibility to include all, regardless of skill or ability and try to adapt the program to the group as well as individual needs. Our program is designed in helping children learn to interact with various ages and care for each other's needs, as well as foster independence through self-help skills. Our program also gives the children a type of family structure.

Positive Start Family Childcare promotes the children's ability to develop their own imaginations, to select the types of activities that match with their interests, and to learn to interact with others. Children learn through play to become creative, imaginative, and self-sufficient at problem solving.

Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and comfortable family environment where children can play and learn with guidance, loving care and respect for one another.

Positive Start Childcare is set up to offer the "best of both worlds" . . . a home setting with a preschool environment encompassing both structured and unstructured activities with a flexible schedule.
