Pog Tutoring

POG Tutoring is a brand new tutoring company, founded by three East Greenwich High School graduates from the Class of 2020. These students, currently taking gap years before they start college next fall, are each passionate entrepreneurs who decided to start POG on the idea that tutoring should be easily accessible for students of all ages, whenever they need help.

All of the POG tutors - Owen Hirshorn, Matthew Tactacan, and Suraj Sait - boast high school GPAs over 4.0. In addition, they have over five years of combined tutoring experience! And thanks to their varied interests and passions, they have taken nearly every course offered at East Greenwich High School, honors and AP included!

Noting that some tutoring centers have a minimum hours requirement and limited availability, POG aims to solve this dilemma by providing round-the-clock tutoring from 9 AM to midnight everyday in most subjects. Because the three tutors at POG are taking gap years, their schedules will allow them to tutor your children at nearly every hour of the day (including during the school day), accommodating their extracurricular and academic activities. And you can sign your child up for as little or as much tutoring as he or she needs! Our shortest session is just fifteen minutes, perfect for drop-in homework help, but you can sign-up for up to two hours of assistance if needed!
