Pleasant Way Daycare is a high quality child care program located in Annandale,VA 22003. We provide Full-time care for children, ages 6 weeks-5 years old. We offer a fun, safe, loving and educational family home environment. We are licensed and insured. We are CPR and first aid certified. We offer the USDA food program. Our program and staff meet and exceed all safety regulations. We have a licensed practical nurse on site. Bilingual (English and Spanish).
We are theme driven and plan a monthly curriculum that includes but not limited to circle time, monthly letter box, Yoga sessions, sensory boxes, arts and crafts, fine motor activities, listening to music, daily walks/outdoor play (weather permitting) and we rotate books in our reading center monthly. Our dramatic play center gets changed quarterly, we have had a space station, a market, a post office, a bakery, a construction site, ice cream truck, pizzeria, and most recently we added a lemonade stand. We celebrate birthdays, and have our annual Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations which includes a special visit from Santa.
