It is Plain Kidz's mission to "...to embrace individuality and to be unashamed of whatever baggage you may carry cause ain't nobody perfect". Furthermore we hope to provide services to those who are most in need.
Rudy G., founder of Plain Kidz Records, grew up in Sanger and Bell Gardens California and graduated from the University of California, Davis (UCD) with a degree in Genetics. While attending UCD, he participated in a number of national conferences where he presented the findings of the scientific research he was conducting as an undergraduate. As an undergraduate, he was a member of the Biology Undergraduate Scholars Program and received scholarship as a Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) scholar. Upon graduating Rudy G. continued to pursue music, while also substitute teaching for Lynwood, Dixon, and Travis Unified School Districts and was also employed at Color, a biotechnology that is a data-driven platform for population health. Here he performed various steps in the Illumina Sequencing assay for DNA Sequencing.
