This is the first all boys daycare facility in the country. Designed by men specifically for boys and how they learn. Our mission is simple, have our boys prepared for school. Help create a well rounded individual that is prepared for life physically, emotionally, and mentally. Our boys are lagging behind girls in almost every educational category. The number of boys dropping out of school is on the raise while the number of college degrees earned have fallen behind girls. Also, most boys and a lot of men are emotionally withdrawn. Learning how to express all emotions and not shut down when certain emotions are triggered.
Boys learn differently than girls, thats the main reason why entering kindergarden boys are behind girls. By catering to boys educational needs we will have them ready to start school. Giving them a strong foundation to build on. Our curriculum is specifically designed for educating boys. Which will include but wont be limited to 30 minute rotations. By switching activities often we intend to keep interest level very high. . Hands on learning. One way boys learn is by touching things and figuring out different uses for things. Lots of exercise. Have to work off some energy so they will be able to focus. Being able to break from a lesson at anytime allows for questions and moments just to understand. Observation is key with boys, figure there interest and then teach to they're interest. All boys will tested before entering and tested once a month to monitor progress.
