The Child Care program works in accordance with Federal and State laws, policies and procedures. The program provides a secure, and developmentally stimulating safe and healthy learning environment. The Child Care program is ADA equipped and designated Asthma/Allergy friendly. Nutritious meals are prepared according to the individual needs of the child(ren). Breastfeeding support is available and encouraged.
Lesson plans and curriculum are created by the guidelines of the Department of Education; This method provides an effective an appropriate educational program for students; primarily for general education and specific and multiple learning disabilities (i.e. special ed., emotional disturbed, mental retardation and other health impairments).I create and facilitate learning through activities that are age appropriate; State and Federal mandated approved curriculum. These activities include play, arts and other structured learning activities.
In addition, as an educator/childcare provider I make sure educational toys, equipment, and area(s) were children learn, study, interact and play is clean.
