Two thousand six was the year Inner I.O.U. Pet Care (formerly Pet Passions) sprung to life. A passion for fostering homeless dogs and watching them reap the benefits of living in a home environment instead of a shelter/kennel, helped me to envision and establish a second home for canines on vacation . Implementing the same concept of incorporating a homeless dog into our family, we started I.O.U. Pet Care. Presently, our canine country club offers two thirds of a beautifully landscaped acre fenced in for their off leash pleasure and exercise. Access available through a dog door 24/7. Their first step through that dog door will lead them to a beautiful cement patio of their own with a small pool, grooming station and more. Indoors are large rooms in a warm setting. Dog beds and cots, crates, blankets and pillows are all part of the decor creating an atmosphere for rest and relaxation. Central air in the summer and a cozy pellet stove in the winter add to their comfortable stay. Dogs are welcome to enjoy all canine and family interactions, just like home. We house many canines from throughout the USA when traveling to the Poconos to enjoy the many attractions, do business, or visit family.

We can also spend the night in your home with our feline friends and the canines that would prefer the comfort of their own den. Daily visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, pet taxi and other services are provided by me and a staff of experienced, educated employees. Other than boarding and daycare, we offer customized care for our feline friends, our caged buddies and beautiful swimmers.

Our dogs are trained, socialized and capable of interacting and understanding the needs of any of our newcomers. The playful visitors will have playmates, independent explorers will have the freedom to do so, elderly friends will have a comfortable spot to lay their heads and young puppies will have a fantastic learning experience from our balanced/stable pack. Some concerned owners wonder if their little dog/s might be intimidated by larger ones, but the I.O.U. dogs are more socialized and intuitive than the average dog due to their years of experience in this field. Their approach is appropriate and well mannered. At your request, any of our dogs are trained and able to accompany me to visits in your home as well.
