I started out providing respite care for the last 4 years, and decided I wanted to continue to be a work from home mom. I opened in November of 2012, and love what I am doing! Myself and my fiance have passed extensive background checks for my previous employer and recently passed again allowing me to accept state pay. I am not registered yet, but intend on becoming state registered this year.
I have lots of things for the kiddos to do! Workbooks and color pages for the little ones. I also have the "Your Baby can Read" set along with other educational books, toys, dvds, and games. I would love to be able to make field trips to Grout Museum District and Phelps. Now that the weather is nice, will spend time outside!
I charge by the hour, and am pretty flexible. I do not generally work weekends or holidays, but if needed we can negotiate. As far as sick days go, I don't charge anything as long as I have notification BEFORE your child/ren are set to arrive. I will also let you know if myself or anyone in the house is sick, and leave bringing them up to you. There is of course no charge if I have a sick day!
