Pear Blossom Early Childhood Center

Pear Blossom is a Waldorf and LifeWays inspired early childhood Center serving families with children aged 6 weeks to 4 or 5 years.

We also hold weeks of summer camp for children ages 5-8.

At Pear Blossom, our mission is to help build real developmental foundations such as creativity, meaningful relationships, curiosity, and a true love for learning. We strive to create an environment for the healthy development of children by providing a holistic learning experience in a home-like childcare setting which fosters security, trust, autonomy, and self-confidence along with meaningful connections between the child and the natural environment.

Our vision is a world where childhood is respected, not rushed, where every child has a connection with nature rather than technology, and where all children develop into competent, confident, and authentic individuals. To bring that vision into reality, we have created a safe, home-like environment where children thrive in the presence of Teachers and Caregivers. Our community understands the importance of imaginative play, seasonal and daily rhythms, and hands-on life experiences. Our hope is to awaken reverence for life in each child.
