Thank you for your interest in my family daycare. My name is Laurie and I have two precious treasures I m lucky to call my sons, ages 20 months and 9 years old. I live in Peakview Estates, just East of Windsor Lake at Hwy 257 and Hollister Lake Road (Cty Rd 19), and have been married for over 11 years.
I am a dependable and energetic professional with a corporate America background where I managed associates. My oldest child was in in-home daycare from ages 1-3, and a daycare facility from age 3-5, so in that respect I have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly! As a parent on that side of childcare, I know what to do and what not to do and what I personally felt comfortable with, so I structure my child care based on what my expectations would be if I were on that side of it again. Currently, I am a stay at home mom for the last 2 years. In the workplace and at home, I have proven to have outstanding communication and established interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop disciplinary and self care skills among children and adults of various ages.
The CORE ATTRIBUTES for my childcare are kiddie etiquette and hygiene, effectual housekeeping, personal care dexterity and most importantly the safety of children at all times.
