I am a retired elementary school teacher who started out my career in education by teaching preschool and operating a home day care 25 years ago when my own three sons were growing up here in San Marcos. I spent 15 years at the elementary level, and then I retired and came full circle back to my roots of early childhood education. This change came about when I became a grandmother of three beautiful baby girls, and knew that with the younger crowd is where I belonged again. We live behind Woodland Park, halfway between Knob Hill and Richland Schools. I am developing a curriculum based on the Early Learning Foundations created by the California State Department of Education.
