II. PATTIE CAKES CHILD CARE CENTER MISSION/PHILOSOPHY
Our mission is to provide a safe, clean, and engaging program that nurtures the whole child. We want parents to have peace of mind while they are away from their beloved children. Our dedicated staff wants each child to feel special. Our teachers are educated professionals that understand each developmental stage of early childhood and provide quality instruction to support them during each stage. We address all aspects of development including physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.
Cleanliness and safety are key components to our program. We have a strict illness policy and will act quickly when a child becomes ill in order to protects all the kiddos. We use state guidelines for all of our cleaning practices and use essential oil diffusers to help build immunity for a little something extra.
Reading comprehension is strongly correlated with experiences and language exposure in early childhood. Our program understands the value in building background knowledge and vocabulary. Our theme-based approach to learning supports our young learners and prepares them for Kindergarten! This approach is not the "traditional model" of learning. By the looks of it, you will just see kids being kids. They will be playing and exploring through themes!
