Patti's Family Daycare

Patti's Family Day Care strives to create a comfortable home environment for kids to learn, play, and grow! Since 1997, this state-certified home day care has provided many families with, not only the professional care they wanted, but the warm welcome they and their children deserved.

The Family Day Care's provider, Patti Crawford, has been a daycare teacher for 27 years. She worked in Acton, Massachusetts as the Lead Teacher in both the infant and toddler rooms. She has also taken several early childhood education classes and numerous workshops, many on an ongoing basis.

When asked why she left Action and decided to create a home childcare business, she said: "I decided to stay home and work when my daughter began kindergarten. Now she is a college student! I grew up in Dracut and am happy to be living with my husband and daughter in a town that we love."

Patti's Family Day Care is open year round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. each day.

The day care is closed on a several national holidays, such as Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day -- more detailed information available upon request.

Weather permitting, the kids go outside everyday (so always make sure you dress the kids appropriately for that day!)

There is also mandatory nap / rest time as regulated by the state; Patti encourages that any special blankets or loveys be brought with the child to make nap time more comforting and soothing!

Patti's Day Care is enrolled in the PACES food program, requiring healthy, nutritional meals and snacks be served. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are served daily (and sometimes, the kids help cook a snack or two!).
