About

I recognize that it is often difficult for working parents to balance all the commitments and responsibilities in their lives. I hope to offer you peace of mind where your child is concerned by providing a safe, loving environment in which your child will be accepted, loved, nurtured, and stimulated.

I strive to meet your child's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs. I believe children learn best in a creative, natural learning environment with just enough structure and organization to provide a sense of security. Your child will learn many life skills like patience, sharing, responsibility, compassion for self and others, communication and teamwork everyday by being a part of our family and participating in the daily routines of our home.

I have 20 years experience as a licensed provider working with children and will use my knowledge to offer stimulating developmental activities as your child becomes ready for them; this includes music, outdoor play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, pre-reading and pre-math skills, quiet story and sharing times, puzzles, building materials, dramatic play, and lots of laughter, hugs, and love.

My childcare participates in the Adult/Child Food Program facilitated by 4-C. This program promotes nutrition, education and sanitation. As part of this program, I provide a healthy variety of foods for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. This includes vitamin A- rich food sources three times a week, as well as vitamin C- rich sources each day and fat free milk for breakfast and lunch. Breastfeeding is encouraged and supported and I offer a lactation area for the comfort of mother and baby.

I offer care Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

I am looking forward to working with you to provide the best possible care for your child.
