I am currently employed at Central Wisconsin Center, of Madison WI. My title is Residential Care Supervisor. I supervise Residential Care Technicians (Certified Nursing Assistants)while they take care of 200 clients. I have been employed in my position since January 27, 2003. I help staff implement daily care plans, positioning recs, supervise in personal, & oral hygiene, as well as feeding recs from OT/PT plans. Prior to my 8yrs of supervisory skills, I was the assistant administrator of an HHS88 Adult Family Care Home for the Developmentally Disabled. Prior to that job, I worked in a county owned nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant / Resident Related Program Assistant. I have administered client medications, performed & delegated nursing skills such as: Temperature readings, Blood Pressures, Blood Glucose Monitoring, Insulin Injection, Pulse Readings, Biscal Suppositories, Personal Hygene, & Oral Hygene. The winters here in WI are getting longer & longer, which is why I am interested in broader horizons in a warmer climate.
