Our main priority is to provide a safe environment and a loving care for the children to learn and grow. We focus on the childrens' social-emotional development and a hands on child lead learning.
We hold morning circle time to introduce preschool curriculum such as letters, numbers, colors, basic geography and science. We also introduce concepts related to the weather, the Earth, our society, social studies, the environment, art, and music appreciation. We follow the lead from children when planning our curriculum and encourage open question and conversation with children. In the afternoon circle time, we have story time, dance and music time.
In addition to providing a loving, caring and fun learning environment for the children, we provide a natural learning environment for Mandarin Chinese by speaking our native language (Mandarin Chinese) to the children. Even though our daycare is named Panda Chinese Family Daycare, we accept and welcome all children to our door whether or not the child has a Mandarin Chinese language background or support at home.
