I am a mother of two children, a daughter finishing up her fifth grade year and a son getting ready to enter Kindergarten. Currently I am a teacher at an amazing early learning center where I have enjoyed working in the older toddler room for the past year. I have had a background check and I am currently certified in CPR and first aid. I have several years experience working with children in classroom as well as home settings. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed working at the center, I am going to transition back to in home care.
I am looking to provide childcare, as well as assist you with your child who is enrolled in online kindergarten/school. Days here would consist of learning through play with select "centers" set up to explore, discover and expand on a learning topic. My lessons will be planned out and based on the children's interest (also known as creative learning). I assist in potty training and helping your child learn life and personal skills, as in getting dressed, putting on there own shoes and socks and becoming self sufficient in the bathroom.
We will play outside and go on outings that will further expand on what we are discovering at that time. Your child will be enjoying themselves so much that they will hardly notice that they are learning!
